** Inscription from the tombstone of Mary McBride:  "wife of Wm. McBride, daughter of Roderic & Barbara McDonald, b. in Elbert Co, Ga on the 4th of Jun, 1807; received an early and pious education, was baptised and joined the Church of God in her 11th year, was married on the 3rd of October 1826 and departed this life at her residence near Fayetteville, Georgia about 3 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, the 11th of November, 1843, being at the time of her death 36 years, 5 months and 7 days old; she was the mother of 10 children, 4 of whom died in infancy and are lying here with her."     (There is more below, but it is within a fence, and I can't read it- the above transcription is borrowed from the 1970s cemetery inventory)
